About Us

Top Level Home Inspections is a family based business. The founder, Leslie Stadnyk, started working in 1995 with some of Calgary’s most prominent residential builders as a Quality Assurance Inspector and Walkthrough Technician. Then as a second generation entrepreneur, (and former successful entrepreneur in Vancouver) Leslie created Top Level Home Inspections in July 2008. In 2014 Leslie hired her son Steve and daughter Sarah to join the company who both come from construction backgrounds. Steve (a former site supervisor) is now a specialized Quality Assurance Specialist completing homeowner walkthroughs on various job sites. Sarah (a former admin assistant at a rebar company and entrepreneur) is now Operations Manager and Quality Assurance Specialist who manages the team, and completes various walkthrough services on all job sites. In 2024, with major growth to the company, the Top Level team expanded to hiring 3 more sub contractors whom have extensive construction and customer service backgrounds. Top Level is now a proud team of 6.
As all of Top Level Home Inspections work is contract based, sub contractor employees are hired as required. The skill set required includes extensive customer service experience and construction knowledge.
They are then further trained by Leslie and the team in other areas of construction including the Construction Performance Guide for New Home Warranty in Alberta. All individuals are certified in both WHMIS and Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED Level C and fully covered by WCB.
Top Level Home Inspections also carries $5,000,000 in both Commercial General Liability Coverage and Automobile Third Party Liability.
The team is honored to be working with some of Western Canada’s finest developers, builders and renovators . Their current Platform of Services is based on listening to the needs of both their clients and new homeowners they have assisted. Top Level Home Inspections is trained and proficient in multiple software systems to punch deficiencies including Conasys, Finishline, Bridget, BlueBeam, Procore and HappyCo.
Our services are completed as per the New Home Buyers Protection Act and The Construction Performance Guide for New Home Warranty in Alberta. The NHBPA established a requirement in 2014 that all new homes built for sale or under construction contract must be covered by a new home warranty insurance provider.
Currently in Alberta those include Alberta New Home Warranty Program, Blanket Home Warranty, Progressive New Home Warranty, Travelers New Home Warranty and National Home Warranty Program.
We are honoured to work with all these insurance providers.
